Get to know the Role:
The Accounts Payable Lead will manage a productive, focused, and high-performance services of Accounts Payable Department. Develop and document policies and procedures manual and ensure compliance with best practices. Monitor a set of relevant KPIs. Initiate and project manage relevant upgrades. He also needs to develop and maintain an effective partnership with all stakeholders in the AP process: Vendors, Operations, Finance, Purchasing and IT to ensure open line of communication
The day-to-day activities:
Invoice processing
- Document and improve the procure-to-pay process, manage exception resolution and measure compliance with a set of specific KPIs
- Manage the workflow for invoices and monitoring system throughput and meet the specific KPIs
- Improve the manual invoices processing and implement tighter controls over process
- Ensure periodic Vendor Statement reconciliation for strategic vendors
- Ensure that all invoices are paid within terms and maximize utilization of available discounts
- Manage correct and timely recording of all payments and/or voids and stops in the system
Reporting
- Manage monthly closing and posting of transactions in the appropriate period and aligned with the periodic accrual reports
- Periodic reconciliation of relevant sub ledger accounts
The must haves:
- Min Bachelor Degree , any degree. Preferably from Accounting or Economics
- Min 3-4 years of experiences in finance operation or accounting
- Having knowledge in automotive and workshop operation
- Experience in automotive or rental company
- Proactive and good team player
- Able to work in fast paced working environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
- Good leadership skills
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel skills
- Good in English both written and verbal
- Strong personal computer and business solution software skills, including advanced Excel skills
- Have experience in lead finance administration operation in mid scale
- Have ability to handle direct customer or vendor handling
