118487 - Japanese Speaking - Senior QC Staff - Apparel

- Work Location: District 01, HCMC

<Position Objective/Expectation>
Provide quality control of clothing and miscellaneous goods at contract factories in Vietnam and ASEAN

<Job Responsibilities>
(1) Planning of preventive measures for fabric/sewing quality problems in the product development stage
(2) Quality check of mass-produced products
(3) On-site inspection at the factory/request for improvement, and progress confirmation
(4) Investigation of the cause of quality defects, planning of countermeasures, and confirmation of the progress of improvements when defects occur
(5) Report on the above to the Production Department at the head office (Japan) and make business trips in conjunction with the above.

<Necessary Skill / Experience>
・Language: Japanese and English - Business Level 
・Experience:
-- 8-10 years total work experience in the apparel industry is desirable, with at least 5 years of experience in quality control.
- Furthermore, experience in manufacturing, trading, retail (non-textile) / MD experience would be better.

・Others: 
- Be able to communicate well with all parties involved, including foreign nationals.
- Have a strong will to carry out work and be a team player.
- Able to respond flexibly and proactively to urgent, unforeseen, and inexperienced tasks.
- Good understanding company's product and culture.

<Preferable Skill / Experience>
- Having 10 years of experience in the Apparel or mass production industry
- Experience working in a Japanese company is preferred
