Vendor Management Assistant Manager - SPX Express, Transportation

• Evaluate vendor performance across cost, reliability, and capacity, and optimize vendor allocation to improve overall network efficiency.
• Manage, monitor, and evaluate the daily operational performance of transportation partners against agreed service standards (SLAs). 
• Work closely with partner representatives to assess, standardize, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure seamless integration with the SPX operational network.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for partner-related issues, effectively resolving operational disputes, delays, and vehicle capacity shortages.
• Develop and implement capacity planning and cap management frameworks to ensure predictable and cost-efficient vendor-related operations
• Identify and lead strategic optimization initiatives related to cost, capacity, or day-to-day operations, build clear business cases, and drive end-to-end implementation with measurable impact.
• Research and apply industry best practices in network design, load optimization, and transportation cost management.
• Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., with Operations, Finance, Procurement, etc.) to align data insights with execution and influence key decisions.
• Other tasks are assigned by the Company from time to time.

Yêu cầu

• Working location: For those who are based in HN: 3 days at Capital Place (29 Lieu Giai, Ba Dinh) and 2 days at SOC Hanoi (Dai Tu Industrial Park, Long Bien). For those who are in HCM: Sonatus or at site. 
• Bachelor degree in logistics, supply chain and other business major preferred 
• Min 6 years of holding the same position in logistics or transport industry
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and decisions
• Be able to manage tasks and follow strict deadlines
• Possess advanced Excel skills, with experience in SQL or BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both Vietnamese and English 
• Exhibit strong ownership, structured thinking, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
• Demonstrate effective stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence decisions through data-driven insights
• Have experience working with 3PLs or trucking vendors, with exposure to high-volume or e-commerce logistics environments as a plus
