[URGENT] SQE ENGINEER

JOB SUMMARY

• The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) will work closely with supplier partners to improve the quality performance of supplied components and ensure compliance with TTI quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements. The SQE will drive the use of effective problem-solving and corrective action methodologies to address supplier quality issues, improve supplier capability, and prevent recurrence.
• The SQE will also support supplier development and continuous improvement activities by applying appropriate quality tools and methodologies to ensure consistent quality of supplied components and overall supplier performance.
• KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the Sourcing team in auditing and qualifying potential suppliers .
• Identify and prioritize suppliers with quality or performance gaps, and develop improvement plans through supplier visits, audits, and follow-up activities .
• Ensure suppliers meet TTI quality standards and requirements , and work with suppliers to develop their quality systems and capabilities when needed.
• Support NPD/NPI (New Product Development/New Product Introduction) projects by ensuring the quality and consistency of new components and materials.
• Review engineering specifications, drawings, and quality requirements to evaluate suppliers' capabilities and identify potential quality risks. Provide recommendations for improvement when necessary.
• Provide technical and quality support at supplier locations to drive corrective actions, improvement activities, and quality performance .
• Work closely with Engineering and other cross-functional teams to support technical document updates and changes when required.
• Follow up on material quality issues identified by IQC, MQA, and other internal functions , as well as issues resulting from customer complaints. Work with suppliers on 8D/SCAR closure and effectiveness verification to prevent recurrence.
• Review and verify supplier quality documents and reports, including 8D reports, inspection reports, test reports, process documents, work instructions, quality plans, and quality records .
• Conduct regular meetings with suppliers to review product quality issues, customer complaints, corrective actions, and improvement progress .
• Assist Purchasing and Customer Service teams in expediting supplier-related issues or materials in urgent situations to minimize the impact on production and customer delivery.
• Prepare weekly and monthly supplier quality reports and provide updates to the SQE Manager.

• Education: University degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronic, Electrical, Automation or related engineering majors
• Experience: Minimum 02 years experience for Manufacturing company

Functional Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience on a position of Supplier Quality or Quality Engineer. Familiar with Six Sigma, ISO 9001, Quality methods and tools such as FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, DOE, 8D, AQL Sampling etc.
• Prefer to have reliability test experience; familiar with design for related reliability test items, conditions, failure analysis and report test status, etc
• Intermediate English reading, writing and speaking skills
• Strong skills in problem analysis and solving.
