Technology Technician (Continuous Improvement background)

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

• Technology Technician acts as a contact point between the production team and other departments.
• The primary objective of this role is to  drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize production efficiency, enhance overall performance, and significantly reduce manufacturing costs, waste, and Customer Complaint Rates (CCR).
• YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: - Join (or lead) some projects to improve or develop new processes to optimize production workflows and increase efficiency. - Identify, analyze, and implement solutions to reduce material waste, operational costs, and machine downtime. - Investigate root causes of quality issues to minimize the Customer Complaint Rate (CCR) and improve product consistency. - Lead or participate in capital investment projects, machine upgrades, and system automation evaluations. - Help other departments with technical related matters to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations. - Train and guide new staffs, operators on standardized operational procedures and continuous improvement mindsets. - Others Tasks as supervisor required.

• University/College degree in technical majors such as Printing, Industrial Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc. - 1 to 2 years experience in similar positions (freshers with excellent school results and open mindset are also welcome) - Knowledgeable of production, process control, sample development processes - Strong capability in problem-solving and root cause analysis using methodologies such as DMAIC, 5 Whys (5W), Fishbone Diagram, etc. - Communication in English is a big advantage - Holding a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification is a strong advantage. - Understanding of applicable computer systems/software, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc. is a plus
