A company in real estate development business is looking for a Senior Legal Manager to join the team based in HCMC. Minimum 10 years of experiene required, preferrably in regional/international property development companies and real estate/construction-focus law firms.

About the Senior Legal Manager Role:

Reporting to the Corporate General Counsel based in HCMC, your main scope is to provide legal advisory related to all its respective investment, development and management issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advices and risk assessment on the company operational and development projects
• Negotiate, review and draft contracts, corporate documents and other legal documents
• Develop contract templates and monitor execution of contracts/documents and implementation of the transactions/investment projects
• Participate in due diligence process, transactions, and coordinate of drafting definitive transaction agreements
• Handle regulatory issues including governmental filings, licenses, approvals and registration of the company and project
• Conduct research and analysis of information and legal documents

To succeed in this role, you will need an intensive experience and track record in real estate industry and direct involvement in deal structure, transactions, development process, fund raising and licensing matters.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in law, preferably at a reputable oversea university
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of law on land and housing, foreign investment, enterprise, etc.
• Possess at least eight years' experience as both an in-house legal counsel in real estate corporations and lawyer in prestigious law firms
• Proactive, entrepreneurial approach to recognise needs, solve problems, anticipate issues and develop solutions; excellent business judgement and strategic thinking
