Sourcing Lead - SPX Express

Strategic Project & Commercial Leadership

• Lead sourcing activities for Tier 1 strategic projects across site development, fleet/transportation, automation/infrastructure, and new energy.
• Work with Business and Planning teams to understand project objectives, key requirements, timelines, and commercial considerations.
• Develop sourcing strategies, supplier approaches, and commercial models appropriate to each project.
• Lead supplier evaluation and commercial negotiations covering price, TCO, capacity, service level, payment terms, and key contractual considerations.
• Prepare clear recommendations by balancing commercial value, business requirements, supplier capability, and execution risk.

Market & Supplier Development

• Build and maintain knowledge of relevant supplier markets, cost drivers, commercial practices, and industry developments.
• Develop supplier pipelines and alternative sources to improve competition and supply resilience.Identify potential strategic suppliers and opportunities for longer-term partnerships or new commercial models.
• Work with category/ technical specialists to incorporate technical and market insights into sourcing decisions.

Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management

• Partner closely with Business and Operations to ensure sourcing solutions are practical and aligned with operational needs.
• Coordinate with Planning on project PMO, due diligence, and sourcing readiness.
• Work with Finance, Legal, QA/QC, and Purchasing to align commercial, contractual, governance, and execution requirements.
• Present sourcing options, key trade-offs, risks, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Raise issues early and help drive alignment where business requirements, supplier constraints, or commercial considerations conflict.

Team & Capability Development

• Provide direction and coaching to category / technical team members working on strategic projects.
• Review analysis and recommendations to ensure commercial and project risks are properly considered.
• Support improvement of team capability in negotiation, supplier strategy, market intelligence, and commercial analysis.
• Promote transparent supplier engagement and strong procurement governance.

Yêu cầu

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
• 6-8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, commercial, business development, consulting, or related roles.
• Experience managing complex sourcing projects or supplier negotiations with multiple stakeholders.
• Exposure to one or more relevant sectors such as logistics/transportation, fleet, infrastructure/real estate, automation/equipment, or energy is preferred.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• People-management or team-lead experience is preferred.
