Software Engineer

• Develop and maintain test software for camera module manufacturing (Image test / VCM / OIS / APS / Electrical measurement) using C++ and Python.
• Understand and translate customer‑provided Matlab algorithms into production‑ready software implementations.
• Support software bring‑up during prototype builds and ensure smooth mass‑production deployment.
• Analyze test logs and production data (yield trends, failure commonarities) to identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
• Optimize test algorithms and test flows to reduce test time and improve overall productivity.
• Collaborate with TE, EE, ME, and FACA teams to perform issue isolation and drive resolution.
• Manage software versions using Subversion (SVN), including revisions, branching, merging, and release control.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python for software development.
• Ability to read and understand Matlab code used for customer‑released algorithms.
• Basic knowledge of image processing, camera test algorithms, and actuator control (SFR, shading, noise, blemish, defective pixels, VCM/OIS behavior, APS calibration).
• Strong data analysis skills (Python, Excel, etc.) for log/CSV evaluation.
• Understanding of test measurement systems fundamentals.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills for distinguishing SW/HW/process/fixture issues.
• Knowledge of version control management with Subversion (revision control, branching, merging).
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical teams.

• 1. Test Equipment Purchasing & Application (Primary Focus)
• Manage test equipment purchasing activities, including Budget, CTB, PR, and PO applications
• Perform system-based purchasing and budget submissions using internal PC systems
• Prepare and maintain technical documents such as specifications, quotation comparison tables, and justification materials
• Coordinate with IE, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and equipment vendors to ensure timely approval and delivery

2. Audit & Compliance Support (ISO, etc.)

• Prepare, update, and manage documentation for ISO and other audits
• Support audit reviews and follow up on corrective actions
• Coordinate across departments to ensure audit findings are properly closed

3. Customer Technical Coordination

• Participate in regular technical meetings with customers
• Provide explanations related to test flow, equipment configuration, and test status
• Collect customer feedback and coordinate internal follow-up actions
• 4. Cross-Site Technical Coordination (VN–JP–CN)
• Coordinate technical and operational topics across Vietnam, Japan, and China teams
• Provide context-aware language support (meetings, emails, documents) as part of technical coordination
• Summarize discussions and align action items across sites ※ This role does not serve as a dedicated interpreter position.
• 5. Test Equipment Introduction & Ramp-Up Support
• Support introduction and ramp-up of new test equipment
• Coordinate installation, bring-up schedules, and issue tracking
