ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for the creation, deployment and on-going management of the company’s and client’s data.
• Ensures strict adherence to the company’s Data Security and Privacy Policy through rigorous compliance to all Regulatory and Internal Controls via the adoption of Best Practice Strategies for such.
• Acts as a point of communication between the client and the Analyst team.
• Reporting to the General Manager                                                 

YOUR DUTIES

• Develops and implements databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Data gathering, research and analytical abilities to develop insightful conclusions and generate data and reporting solutions to address the business needs.
• Build and maintain ETL process to collect and integrate data from various sources, build data platforms for use by Data Analytics team members, optimize and maintain the data warehouse.
• Work as contact point between internal and external clients to fully understand the data requirements.
• Identifies, evaluates, and implements external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing.
• Monitors and audits Azure database performance, manage database access.
• Prepares reports, data dashboards, graphs and visualizations using business analytics reporting tools to interpret trends.
• Works closely with vendor to track detailed project and timeline in order to meet internal requirements.
• Monitors and maintains security compliance in accordance with Internal and Government controls, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

YOUR KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics, Computer Science, IT Management or Statistics
• Minimum 5 years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Strong knowledge & experience with Database (SQL), programming and statistical packages (R, excel), ETL processes, Business Analysis and CDW applications
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence software (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) strongly advantageous
• Demonstrated experience with standard software applications, including MS Office, Windows, and other data security peripherals.
• Professional analytics experience in data mining, trend analysis, and database design
• Able to lead and get along with co-workers as a team; team building, and problem-solving skills required.  
• Must have a strong dedication to service mindset.
• Knowledge of current trends in the specific field.

• Analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions within standards (where applicable).
• Interpret guidelines and analyze factual information to adapt or modify processes in response to changing circumstances.
• Duties may require non-routine analysis, research and follow-through.
