The Role
- As the Senior Costing Marker Making Specialist, you will be the central point of contact for the Marketing and Merchandising teams for all initial fabric development and costing markers.
- This is an autonomous role where you will be fully responsible for the end-to-end marker process to generate accurate fabric yields for sales quotes.
- You will work independently from the main Production R&D and Marker Room.
- Key Responsibilities
- Analyze fabric consumption requests shared by the Marketing team for new garment development.
- Find similar existing product blocks to create base costing patterns.
- Create new costing patterns from scratch when necessary using Gerber Accumark.
- Apply appropriate grading rules to new patterns.
- Independently create cost markers (mini markers) using Gerber Accumark to determine the most efficient fabric yield (YY) for development.
- Provide timely, accurate costing yields to Marketing to support pre-production costing exercises.

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in apparel marker making and costing within a manufacturing environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Gerber Accumark CAD software is mandatory (Pattern Design & Marker Making modules).
- Proven ability to work independently without day-to-day oversight.
- Strong understanding of pattern construction, grading, and fabric properties.
- Experience in development costing and analyzing pre-production yields.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to manage a high workload in a deadline-driven environment.
