QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER / INSPECTOR

Position title: QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER / INSPECTOR
Salary range: 600 - 800 USD
Work Location: District 2, Ho Chi Minh City

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections on products at the source factory.
• Assess product’s conformance to specifications.
• Document inspection results in writing, with appropriate photographs. Communicate results to Global QA team, as required.
• Identify root of problem cause and implement permanent corrective action in response to supplier quality issues.
• Reports inspection results to the Global QA team.

Job Requirements:

• Products
  • Knowledge of one or more of these specific product types will be helpful in understanding business of company.
  • Marker components and assembly (or other pen/ writing instrument)
  • Paint / ink production
  • Clay
• Job Specifications
  • Three to five years’ experience in quality assurance/manufacturing environment.
  • Graduating from college or higher
  • Ability to interpret product specifications and drawings.
  • Ability to interpret testing procedures and develop test reports based on findings.
  • Good written, oral and problem-solving abilities required.
• Manufacturing processes - Knowledge of, or experience with, any of these processes will be helpful in understanding the business
  • Printing/print press control
  • Blister sealing
  • Thermoforming
  • Injection molding
  • Other manufacturing/assembly process (gluing, joining, pencil sharpening)
• Target industries – Experience in any of the following industries
  • Toy
  • Electronics
  • Other consumer goods exporting to US or EU
