QC Lab Supervisor

• Lead the QC lab team to execute and fully maintain the ISO/IEC 17025 quality management system in daily operations.
• Review and technically approve daily test results and reports to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
• Track, analyze, and report laboratory KPIs (turnaround time, testing efficiency, error rates) to the Lab Manager.
• Develop and maintain Testing Procedures, Standards & Methods for raw materials and products.
• Research, design, and validate new testing procedures to expand laboratory capabilities.
• Own and manage the calibration and verification schedule for all lab equipment and critical testing instruments across other operational departments.
• Coordinate with 3rd party laboratories and certification bodies to ensure all annual compliance testing is executed right on schedule.
• Conduct comparison testing / interlaboratory trials with external and 3rd party labs.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate lab technicians on technical competencies and ISO standards.
• Effectively work with relative departments to identify quality problems, devise solutions, and follow up on corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Lab Manager.
• Direct and push the laboratory testing system, transforming the ISO 17025 framework into daily practice.
• Fully utilize the support of all departments to manage the calibration master plan and meet laboratory performance objectives.
• Provide accurate, reliable testing data and technical insights to support management decisions and ensure product compliance.

• 1.     Education §   Bachelor’s degree and above in Engineering, Science, or Quality Management.

2.     Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in laboratory environments or quality management.
• Proven track record in a supervisory or lab management role.
• Experience in furniture manufacturing, upholstery, or related industry is an advantage.

3.     Knowledge of

• ISO/IEC 17025 (highly preferred) or ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Equipment calibration systems, metrology, and uncertainty evaluation.
• International testing standards.
• 4.     Skills and Abilities §  Excellent data review, analytical, and problem-solving skills. §  Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet strict testing deadlines. §  Ability to communicate effectively with internal departments and 3rd party organizations. §  Proficient in computer software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email, and Power BI). §  Fluent in both oral and written English
