QC & Footwear Technician

Development stage

• When receiving the sample request copy from the Developer to the factory, you are responsible to arrange the new pattern with the factory, check it and confirm it to proceed the development samples
• Support the Developer on the choice of the last/foxing/outsole as available one in factories if no specific request from factory
• Update daily sample schedule to Developer copy to Manager after every factory visit.

• Check the Development sample quality/ outlook etc…when finished before sending to customer
• Support the Developer on the deadline of samples

Production stage

• Follow up the Confirmation samples, testing samples, Production pairs and shopping/photo samples in factory in accordance with the customer standards and in cooperation with the Merchandiser who send the sample request to the factory and support the deadline of samples. You have to check the sample quality before sending to the laboratory / customer.
• Support the Merchandiser on the choice of the last/foxing as available one in factories if no specific request from factory
• Update daily sample schedule to Developer copy to Manager after every factory visit.
• Check the cutting die and size set, send a pattern trial report/cutting die report to Merchandiser/ Manager and to factory –in order to give the agreement on mass production to factory and if any comments/revised – you have to push to receive them asap as soon as the confirmation sample is confirmed by customer.

Inspection

• You are responsible to check all the bulk material when arriving in the factory, any material color or quality issue, you will report to the Sourcing/production Manager and send the copy to the Vietnam Country Manager and the HCM merchandiser.
• Check all the production steps from the lamination of the material, cutting, stitching and lasting until the packing as inspection online, and report to the Sourcing/production Manager and send the copy to the Country Manager and cand supervise the production schedule according to the shipment deadline in cooperation with the HCM Merchandiser
• You are responsible to follow and check online production, update a daily production report of the factory visited of the day
• Once the good are finished, you will do final inspection and send the report and pictures to HCM Merchandisers copy to Sourcing/production Manager and copy to the Country Manager. All the cartons you inspect must be sealed with your stamp
• In case of 3rd part inspection required by customer you are responsible to follow up the inspection with the 3rd part inspector
• You are responsible to check the departure of the goods from factory to forwarder warehouse according to the shipment schedule approved by customer and the closing date specified by the forwarderð The factories you follow up may be adjusted every season by your Manager according to the season business

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in Technical/QC knowledge about the shoes
• Strong product and material knowledge, familiar with product development process
• Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive hard working and detail minded
• Ability to build strong relationships with the team, communicate effectively with internal and external parties
• Well organized individual, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem solving skills, able to meet deadlines
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Literate in Microsoft office programs
