QA Manager

A. PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION

• Spartronics Viet Nam is seeking a
• QA Manager  is responsible for leading the entire quality management system of an electronic manufacturing facility, ensuring product compliance with customer requirements and international standards.
• This role drives quality strategy, risk management, continuous improvement, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction while developing a strong QA organization and quality culture.

B. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Quality Strategy & System Leadership

• Define and implement long-term quality strategy for the factory.
• Lead, maintain, and continually improve QMS according to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, NADCAP, IPC standards, and customer requirements.
• Align quality direction with corporate/global standards where applicable.

2. Product, Process & Compliance Control

• Own end-to-end product quality control from incoming → in-process → outgoing → customer.
• Approve quality standards, control plans, PFMEA, sampling methods, workmanship requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer-specific requirements (including medical/aerospace if applicable).

3. Customer Quality Management

• Act as executive-level quality representative for customers.
• Lead communication in QBR/MBR, customer audits, escalations, NCMR, RMA and field return cases.
• Drive customer satisfaction improvement with focus on NPS and long-term partnership.

4. Improvement, Cost, Yield & Performance

• Lead continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma, RCA, DOE, SPC, and preventive quality tools.
• Reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), scrap and rework while improving FPY and overall yield.
• Implement data-driven quality monitoring and predictive improvement systems.

5. Audit & Certification

• Manage internal, customer and third-party audits.
• Achieve full compliance with zero major non-conformance findings.
• Ensure effective CAPA closure and shift from corrective to preventive control mindset.

6. Leadership & People Development

• Oversee QA/QC/FA/RMA/Document Control teams at factory level.
• Build competency framework, capability roadmap, and succession pipeline for quality team.
• Promote quality ownership culture with discipline, transparency, and continuous improvement.

1. Education

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, Industrial Systems, Quality, or related fields.
• 2. Experience: 10–15+ years in EMS / PCBA manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years in senior quality leadership role.
• Strong experience interacting with global customers (U.S., Europe, Japan strongly preferred).
• Proven record of QMS implementation and improvement under ISO 13485, AS9100, NADCAP or equivalent compliance systems.

3. Skills & Competencies

• Expertise in 8D, RCA, FMEA, Control Plan, DOE, SPC, PPAP, MSA.
• Strong leadership influence and change-management capability.
• Data-driven decision-making, strategic planning, risk control mindset.
• Excellent English communication for executive-level customer & audit interaction.
• Ability to drive culture, lead cross-functional improvement, and make tough decisions under pressure.
