Project Quality Engineer

• Supporting new and transfer projects and ensure that all applicable deliverables outlined in the Product and Process Development Process of Sonion are executed correctly and timely.
• Support product introduction and ensure new machines, fixtures, and materials are validated prior production release.
• Consulting with internal departments such as Product Development, Product Engineering, Production, Industrialization, Operations QA, Application Engineering and other relevant departments regarding the operation and appearance of new products.
• Consult with Product Development on technical specifications of the products.
• Generate process FMEA together with Production Engineering.
• Capture lesson learned during the project phase and provide feedback to Product Development department via FMEA update list for future projects.
• Generate SQC test plan and supervise the tests until release and internal approval
• Support product qualification at Customer.
• Provide recommendations with regards to the products.
• Advising and supporting the project team members.
• Compliance with policies and procedures within the framework of SBS (Sonion Business System)

II. FORMAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Education

• Required: B.Sc of Mechanical or Electronic Engineering
• Preferable: M.Sc of Engineering
• 2.  P rofessional knowledge of:  NPI experience/Reliability Test experience  Control Plan, FMEA, Statistical Process Control  MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)  8D Problem Solving  Quality System Auditing Skills  People Management & Communication Skills  Understand that employees have to perform according to SBS which was built according to the ISO systems
• Must go through the ISO awareness training which is part of orientation program for all new hire.Know about the Quality& Environment Policy (what they are about and where they are posted or filed)
• 3. Knowledge of computer servicing:  MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• 4. Knowledge of foreign languages: English at Intermediate level or equipvalent TOEIC 600
• 5. Other  (e.g. competences) :  Team builder/leader  Strong personality  Target & goal oriented  Customer oriented

6. Professional experience

• Mandatory:  Above 2 years in Engineering or product/process Engineer.
• Prefered:  Experience in an ESD and/or clean-room production 1 year within Sonion
