Production Supervisor ( Steel Structure Fabrication)

- OBJECTIVE
- Achieve the immediate and short-term production objectives set by the Production Manager, delivering steel buildings and steel structures that meet specification, quality, safety and schedule requirements.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production
- Plan and direct daily production; make adjustments as needed to deliver products within specifications, quality, safety and schedule requirements.
- Prepare and issue process sheets and work instructions for all production staff and workers.
- Monitor utility usage to ensure efficient operations.
- Quality and Materials
- Monitor the quality of incoming raw materials and finished products.
- Manage cross-functional coordination with QA and materials for the team.
- QHSE, Safety and Hygiene
- Maintain safe and hygienic working conditions throughout the factory.
- Build QHSE into all work activities and ensure compliance with all quality requirements and the QHSE policy.
- Help develop, update and maintain QHSE procedures and documentation.
- Accompany QHSE auditors; recommend and implement corrective action plans for audit findings.
- Support a continuous improvement culture aligned with the QHSE policy, QHSE system and applicable regulations.
- People, Training and Administration
- Train new and existing employees, and ensure all training is planned and documented.
- Manage administrative duties, including the Time & Attendance system and annual job appraisals for all production employees.
- Improvement and Equipment
- Recommend and support improvements to facilities, equipment and procedures to enhance safety, quality and efficiency.
- Schedule and/or perform calibration of factory measuring instruments.
Yêu cầu ứng viên
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology (production management, mechanical engineering, or equivalent).
- Experience
- At least 3 years in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior people-management experience, with a proven ability to motivate, organize and build teams.
- Skills and Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to liaise effectively with support functions.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Good job-arrangement and planning skills; able to work under pressure and handle overtime as required.
- Good written communication skills.
- English communication at an intermediate level.
- Mature, independent, and willing to take on challenges.
