Process Control & Instructor (Warping & Sizing)

• Team Building, Training & Operations Management
• Build the Preparation operational team for commissioning and start-up.
• Manage and supervise operators in the Preparation department, including ball warping, re-beaming, and sizing.
• Train new and existing team members to improve performance, working discipline, and technical skills.
• Assign daily tasks, provide instructions, and monitor operator performance.
• Participate in production planning and scheduling decisions to ensure on-time product availability.
• Process Control, Machine Setup & Technical Management
• Apply in-depth knowledge of warping machines and sizing machines for cotton satin and sateen fabrics.
• Ensure proper machine settings for different yarn types and sizing requirements.
• Coordinate with Maintenance on equipment utilization and performance optimization.
• Train operators on proper machine operation techniques, quality control procedures, troubleshooting, yarn breakage handling, and quality defect identification.
• Develop training materials and SOPs for all preparation processes.
• Quality, Documentation & Continuous Improvement
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs are implemented to reduce breakdown time.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation for preparation processes.
• Document sizing recipes, machine parameters, and quality control data for future reference.
• Coordinate with Weaving, Quality, Planning, Project, and Maintenance teams during production, commissioning, and improvement activities.
• Manage production, budget, inventory, service standards, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Preparation department.

• Education & Experience
• University or College degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields; equivalent practical experience in textile preparation may also be considered.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in warp preparation, including warping and sizing, within a woven fabric mill.
• Skills & Competencies
• Deep experience in developing sizing recipes for fine yarn counts from Ne 30/1 to Ne 120/1 with up to 3,000 ends.
• Strong knowledge of cotton satin and sateen fabric production, warping machines, sizing machines, sizing chemistry, machine parameter optimization, ball warping, re-beaming, and sizing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, process control, training, and coaching skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• ERP/MES knowledge is an advantage.
• Language / Other Requirements
• Good command of English or Chinese; Chinese ability is preferred.
• Below 45 years old.
• Willing to work in shifts.
• Able to work under supervision and undergo periodic performance reviews.
