Planning Manager

• Production Planning & Material Coordination
• Develop production schedules based on demand forecasts to meet customer requirements.
• Determine required materials and generate purchase order requests.
• Ensure consistent and adequate material supply for production.
• Schedule and oversee the supply and delivery of materials.
• Inventory, Capacity & Production Monitoring
• Manage inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
• Determine manpower and equipment needed to cover production demand.
• Monitor jobs to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Track output information, including finished product quantity and defect percentage.
• Monitor inventory levels and analyze gaps between plan and actual performance.
• Cross-functional Coordination & Reporting
• Communicate with internal departments regarding production schedules and deadlines.
• Coordinate with Sales and Warehouse teams to arrange finished product delivery to customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Maintenance, Production, Quality Control, and Warehouse.
• Prepare and submit status and performance reports.

• Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as Planning Manager or Planning Supervisor; warehouse management experience is required.
• Skills & Competencies
• Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
• Experience with MRP II / Manufacturing Resource Planning.
• Good Excel skills and working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
• Good mathematics and statistics capability.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in the feed or food industry is preferred.
• Logistics experience is an advantage.
