Manager / Senior Manager, Finance (based in Northen Vietnam)

Roles

• Provide overall finance leadership & support to the Business Heads & manage a local team of finance staff to ensure the financial performance & business targets of the Group for Project sites located in Northern Vietnam are met.

Responsibilities
• Work closely with the Business Heads & to oversee the Finance, Accounting, Risk & Corporate Governance functions in the projects located in Northern Vietnam
• Ensure timely and accurate corporate financial closing, as per Group Finance and Accounting policies in Vietnam & Singapore
• Responsible for annual budgeting submission & quarterly financial forecasts review
• Ensure adequate project funding, review and recommend areas of improvement for cash-flow and funding needs
• Review periodic/ ongoing financial and management reports as required by Business Heads & JV Shareholders (including Governance Assurance Compliance Reports, Finance Slides update for bi-monthly Steering Committee Meetings etc)
• Ensure compliance with statutory year-end audits and internal systems of control, in accordance with Vietnam & IFRS statutory requirements and relevant provisions of the shareholders’ Joint Venture Agreement
• Assist in feasibility studies for Investment, CAPEX & project expansion
• Maintain and strengthen good relationships with local regulatory authorities, bankers, internal and external auditors and key stakeholders

Requirements
• Degree in Finance, Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience with at least 3 years in a managerial position
• Possess strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to exercise strong influence and control to ensure compliance whilst maintaining trust and loyalty with key personnel
• Experience working in Vietnam will be advantageous
