LEGAL COUNSEL

Responsibilities

• To assist the relevant departments in drafting/review/advice on legal issues of daily operation;
• Legal research and provide legal advice on structure of transactions/new products, etc;
• Performing periodic submission of report/info disclosure;
• Handling of licensing documents to be submitted to relevant authorities;
• To review the internal procedures/policies to be drafted by relevant departments;
• Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of actions have been taken;
• Other tasks as assigned by Head of Legal.

Requirements

• A degree preferably in Law; knowledge in financial industry is an advantage.
• At least 4-5 years of experience  with professional legal qualifications and practical legal and commercial experience gained in private law firms and financial industry.
• Knowledge of services in securities company is highly appreciated.
• Understanding of AML/CTF control and training;
• Experience in drafting, review, negotiation and interpretation of project documentation.
• Ability to deliver high quality work within tight deadlines and highly independent.
• Good computer skills.
• English proficiency.
