DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop electrical designs for data center projects, from concept to detailed design, within the assigned scope.
- Design power supply and distribution systems, including transformers, MV/LV switchgear, generators, UPS, transfer switches and power distribution to IT equipment.
- Develop design solutions that meet project requirements for power redundancy, reliability and maintenance.
- Perform electrical calculations, including load assessment, equipment and cable sizing, voltage drop, short-circuit and protection coordination.
- Create and update electrical models and design drawings in Revit, including equipment layouts, cable routing, earthing, lightning protection and lighting.
- Prepare single-line diagrams, design calculations, technical specifications, equipment schedules and bills of quantities.
- Coordinate electrical models and designs with mechanical, architectural, structural and other disciplines to resolve clashes and design issues.
- Check the accuracy and consistency of calculations, models and drawings, and update them following technical reviews and project changes.
- Review equipment technical information and respond to design-related questions within the assigned scope.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Open for Expat Candidates
- At least 5 years of electrical design experience, including direct experience in data center projects.
- Proficient in Revit for electrical modeling, design documentation and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Able to independently perform electrical calculations and develop models and drawings within the agreed design requirements.
- Good knowledge of data center electrical systems, including generators, UPS, critical power distribution and redundant power arrangements.
- Understanding of data center design principles and Uptime Institute Tier requirements relevant to electrical design.
- Familiarity with applicable electrical codes, standards and project requirements.
- Experience using electrical calculation software.
- Able to read technical documents and communicate about design work in English.
- Good coordination skills, attention to detail and ability to meet design deadlines.
