Position title: IT Project Manager (ERP)

I - JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for performing life-cycle implementations of 3 rd party software packages and managing the project from requirements gathering to delivery of an operational system
• Manage the project budget, project resources, timelines.
• Perform Business Analyst functions including requirements collection, design, discuss business rules and processes at internal client meetings and adapt them to the application.
• Identify gaps between business requirements and the delivered vendor application. Propose solutions and approach to closing gaps via process re-design or system functionality
• Manage and build relationships with key project stakeholders from project inception to post-implementation.
• Provide weekly status reports and project updates on a regular basis; facilitate change management and issue resolution.
• Ensure project objectives are set and roles of team members are clear
• Perform other duties as assigned.

II - JOB REQUIREMENTS

• BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science/MIS, or equivalent experience.
• PMP certification a plus
• Five plus years experience in project management & implementing packaged software
• Strong project management skills, and a thorough knowledge of implementation lifecycle.
• Experience in managing multiple complex projects
• Demonstrated business acumen
• Experience in Business to Consumer business
• Demonstrated capability to get results in a complex, often ambiguous environment
• Ability to establish trust and credibility at all levels of the organization
• Ability to lead technical projects from start to finish with minimal technical support.
• Proven ability to define and document gap analyses and proposed solutions.
• Be able to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Possess sound decision-making abilities.
