- Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning
- In conjunction with US NDX Operations (expected to adjust working shift based on priorities and be flexible with time and availability to effectively work with US-based colleagues)
- Design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for infrastructure administration and management.
- Serve as an expert resource in the development of IT strategies in collaboration with the IT Director and other senior IT colleagues.
- Conduct research and make recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards in support of all infrastructure procurement and development efforts.
- Establish service level agreements with business units.
- Execution, Deployment & Security
- Prepare and lead efforts in planning and documentation of infrastructure projects and other relevant activities.
- Expertly handle negotiations with vendors and contractors to secure infrastructure-specific products and services.
- Spearhead planning and deployment of infrastructure security measures in conjunction with global standards outlined by NDX Cybersecurity policies, Vietnam local regulations and leading security practices.
- Operational Management
- Serve as an infrastructure and security lead for DADL Vietnam environment and be the primary contact for NDX IT counterparts based in the US.
- Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, security, wireless implementations, and so on.
- Define hardware and software standards in conjunction with owners and stakeholders.
- Test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining network infrastructure.
- Test server performance and provide server performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining server infrastructure.
- Knowledge & Experience 5+ years or more experience managing and delivering infrastructure design and operational excellence.
- Exceptional knowledge of service and application delivery, as well as successful service level agreement accomplishments. 2+ years successful leadership within an infrastructure team or similar group.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware.
- Knowledge of current protocols and standards, including networking standards within a Cisco environment, systems administration within a Windows environment.
- Exposure to administering firewalls / SD-WAN / FWaaS utilizing Palo Alto’s Silver Peak solutions.
- Application support experience with Windows environments – prefer exposure to Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP platform.
- Exposure to real-world implementation of AI tools and services in a manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous.
- Working experience administering systems within a hybrid, Windows-based environment (Windows Server, SQL Server databases, MS O365, Azure, etc.)
- Experience in deployment and management of cybersecurity tools (Crowdstike, Rapid7, Defender, etc.)
- Experience in interpreting the applicability of local and US-based laws/regulations to company operations.
- Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

- Education and Skills
- Bachelor’s/College degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or 8+ years of equivalent work experience.
- Certifications in networking, systems administration or IT Security would be preferred (CCNP, CISSP, Microsoft 365 Certifications, etc.).
- Project management and business analysis competencies are important for this role working as a senior IT member.
- Business-level English is a MUST to communicate primarily with NDX IT colleagues without need of translation services.
