Improvement Engineer

Problem Solving

• Identify and analyze root causes of line issues using the 5 Whys + 1H method to implement permanent corrective actions.

Process & Technology Improvement

• Propose creative ideas (Kaizen) to optimize production line flow and operational efficiency.
• Research and apply new technologies and automation to enhance product quality and reduce manual handling.

Equipment Capacity Optimization

• Optimize machine cycle time and equipment efficiency to boost
• UPH (Units Per Hour) and minimize unplanned downtime.

Reporting & Project Management

• Provide daily and weekly detailed reports on project progress and issue status.
• Summarize monthly project performance (evaluating success ratios, cost savings, and UPH growth).
• Execute other tasks as assigned by the direct Manager.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (IE), Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field. 1–3 years of experience as a Process, IE, or Production Improvement Engineer in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills & Methodologies

• Proficient in root cause analysis tools (specifically 5 Whys + 1H , Fishbone diagram).
• Good understanding of
• Kaizen , Lean Manufacturing concepts, and Line Balancing.
• Practical knowledge of UPH/Cycle Time optimization, OEE improvement, and waste reduction.
• Familiarity with basic automation, jig design, or sensor applications is a plus.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Good reporting skills (proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, or data visualization tools).
• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
