HEAD OF MANUFACTURING

As a Head of Manufacturing of our factory in Bien Hoa, Dong Nai, you will provide the thoughtful leadership, and strategic vision needed to ensure success and continued improvement. In addition to oversight of P&L, you will focus on overall operations, fulfilling our commitment to both employee safety and morale, as well as our dedication to being a trusted partner to our customers.

What you will be doing

To be successful in this role, you must have demonstrated history of success in manufacturing operations, supply chain and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be equally comfortable presenting to executive leadership as well as interacting with our production team and customers. Frequent and regular time spent on the production floor will be necessary to establish trust and confidence with employees. We are looking for someone committed to continuous improvement, has a passion for safety, transitions easily from boardroom to steel-toed shoes, and who can define and communicate goals and objectives to our team.

As we strive to better serve our customers, the Manufacturing General Manager will look to identify trends and find opportunities for improvement and ultimately growth.

This role will look for ways to drive down costs, while identifying where strategic investments are needed. You will seek to maintain the rich history of our operation, while driving change needed for success in an evolving world. He/She will need to create a culture of open dialogue, where goals are clearly defined, and innovation is consistently achieved.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Oversee budgets, forecasts, and business plans; and provide analysis necessary to meet financial and business goals.
• Work closely with Operations Manager to oversee the manufacturing/fabrication processes and lead efforts to continuously control costs, improve shop floor efficiency, productivity and profitability.
• Work closely with Supply Chain Manager on Inventory, Supply and Demand (check with Ky)
• Business partner with internal stakeholder in Sales, Engineering, HR, Finance & Project Management to ensure smooth adoption and compliance with departmental objectives.

• Constantly identify and drive improvement initiatives across the departments to increase the overall effectiveness of the team.

• Support and ensure compliance with state and local regulations, as well as policies defined by Group and our Code of Conduct.

Relevant Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
• At least 10 years of relevant sales management or leadership experience; preferably in Steel Buildings and Construction industry
• Ability to manage an operation, lead, manage and motivate the teams to achieve strong employee engagement and business results

• Excellent leadership, strong management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong in organization and creating team work, good facilitator, consensus builder and able to manage conflict
• Proficient in MS Office, ERP system
