Position title: Head Cashier (L’Usine) (Trưởng Thu Ngân – Ngành F&B)
Salary range: 6.5 - 8.450 mil
Work location: Ho Chi Minh

Job Description

Head Cashier is responsible for monitoring and supervising the cashier team on issuing bills and invoices as well as receiving payments in the form of cash or credit card transactions. In accordance with Cash Handling Management Policy, the Head Cashier also needs to complete relevant paperwork, oversee the workflow of the cashier team, balance cash drawers, petty cash and tip boxes in the outlet, and overall be responsible and accountable for this function.

• Monitor and oversee the work of cashier team on a day to day basis
• Handle more complex customer problems and inquiries related to payments
• Keep track and inform cashier team of any changes to the menu or POS functions
• Administer and monitor the use of special codes (such as FOC, CHG and DSC) and promotional purchases
• Perform cashier duties when necessary
• Ensure that each customer’s transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner
• Inventory management including data entry in POS system and physical counting with front end team
• Handle documents between outlet and office such as VAT invoices, bills, credit card slips, and various logs
• Manage closing check list of cashier staff end of the shift, reconcile report with cash collection of each shift- cashier
• Strictly enforce Cash Handling Management Policy
• Assist with training of new cashiers
• Ensure register/counter areas are neat and stocked with necessary supplies
• Send daily/weekly/monthly report to accounting team accuracy and on time

Job Requirement

• Full-Time position(s) available.
• Minimum 6 months of working experience as head cashier role in restaurant.
• Over 2 years of working experience as captain server or shift leader in multi-unit restaurant groups or 5 star hotels.

• Candidate must possess at least a College Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Commerce or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English.
• Previous customer service experience and administration within a Bank or other Financial Institution.
• Preferably Junior Staffs specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
