Factory Training & Lean Manufacturing Specialist

• Project Planning, Cost & Risk Control
• Analyze and evaluate quotations from contractors and suppliers for construction, MEP, and equipment.
• Review construction volume estimates for civil works, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes to ensure accuracy and cost effectiveness.
• Develop machine installation schedules and prepare cost estimates and budget tracking reports.
• Identify critical path activities, potential risks, and propose mitigation measures.
• Construction, MEP & Machine Installation Coordination
• Monitor daily progress of civil construction and MEP works against approved schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure work quality and compliance with specifications.
• Inspect MEP installation, including electrical, HVAC, compressed air, piping, and related systems.
• Prepare installation requirements for Air Jet or Rapier weaving machines, sizing machines, direct warping machines, fabric inspection machines, and baling or packing machines.
• Coordinate manpower, auxiliary equipment, materials, foundations, utility connections, and access routes for installation readiness.
• Communication, Documentation & Production Transition
• Liaise with equipment suppliers on delivery schedules, installation procedures, and technical support.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Technical teams for installation and commissioning support.
• Bridge communication among contractors, suppliers, internal departments, Project Manager, and stakeholders.
• Maintain project documents, progress reports, inspection records, handover documents, lessons learned, and best practices.
• After project completion, support transition to weaving workshop production operations, production ramp-up, and process optimization.

• Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Industrial Management, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a woven textile weaving factory environment; experience in project management, factory renovation, new production line installation, or similar projects is an advantage.
• Skills & Competencies
• Good understanding of woven fabric production processes, including sizing, warping, weaving, inspection, and baling.
• Knowledge of machine structure, operating principles, and installation requirements for sizing machines, direct warping machines, Air Jet or Rapier weaving machines, and MEP systems.
• Able to read and interpret architectural, structural, electrical, pneumatic, steam, plumbing, and equipment layout drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent scheduling tools; able to use AutoCAD for mechanical, architectural, electrical, and MEP drawings.
• Good skills in document control, quotation analysis, construction volume take-off, cost estimation, budget tracking, variance analysis, risk assessment, meeting facilitation, and data analysis.
• Language / Other Requirements
• Good command of English; Chinese is preferred.
• Below 45 years old.
• Willing to work in factory and construction site environments.
• Willing to work shifts if required during installation and commissioning.
