Engineering Manager

• Team Leadership & Maintenance Management
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 15 Maintenance Engineers and Technicians.
• Manage shift schedules, workload balancing, and rapid response to machine breakdowns.
• Ensure the team has the required training, tools, and technical resources to troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
• Operational Excellence, SOPs & Preventive Maintenance
• Develop, implement, and enforce SOPs for routine machine maintenance, planned downtime, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Drive proactive, data-driven maintenance instead of reactive repair.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure critical components are available.
• Factory Performance, OEE & Safety Compliance
• Work closely with the Production Manager to monitor, analyze, and report OEE metrics, including Availability, Performance, and Quality.
• Lead root cause analysis for recurring failures to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Identify capital investment opportunities for machine upgrades or modifications.
• Ensure all maintenance activities follow company safety protocols, LOTO procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.

• Education & Experience
• 5 years of professional experience in maintenance engineering, reliability engineering, or a related field within a manufacturing or production environment.
• 3 years of proven experience managing and leading a sizable team of engineers or technicians; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or similar technical field is highly preferred.
• Skills & Competencies
• Strong technical background in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial controls, including PLCs.
• Experience with high-speed packaging or converting machinery.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and managing Preventive Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance programs.
• Deep understanding and practical experience in measuring and improving OEE.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
