EHS Staff

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION

• Implement safety, health, and environmental activities to ensure safe production operations and compliance with legal and company requirements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• 1. Conduct daily patrols to monitor compliance with occupational safety and health, fire safety, environmental, and 7S requirements.
• 2. Identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, recommend and track corrective actions for non-conformities.
• 3. Manage the procurement and issuance of personal protective equipment (PPE), and monitor its effective use.
• 4. Manage waste and arrange its handover to waste treatment contractors.
• 5. Prepare periodic reports, manage EHS documentation and records, and coordinate required statutory and regulatory compliance activities.
• 6. Monitor and supervise the safety performance of contractors, visitors, and construction activities within the factory.
• 7. Participate in occupational accident, incident, and near-miss investigations; prepare reports and monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• 8. Perform other tasks as assigned by the EHS Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1. Education: - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Chemistry, or other relevant engineering fields.
• 2. Experience: - At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• 3. Others: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively influence and persuade others. - Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. - In-depth knowledge of occupational safety and health (OSH), environmental, fire safety regulations and legal requirements. - Strong problem-solving, risk assessment, and decision-making skills. - Good observation, reporting, and follow-up skills. - Good teamwork and coordination skills, with a proactive and responsible attitude.
