E&I SUPERVISING ENGINEER

• RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform and report E&I inspection and testing activities for Oil & Gas, Power and Utilities projects.
• Review PQP, ITPs, datasheets, procedures and inspection requirements.
• Inspect LV/MV switchgear, MCCs, transformers, UPS, drives, cables and earthing systems.
• Witness FAT/SAT, relay testing, cable testing and transformer testing.
• Inspect instrumentation and control equipment and witness calibration, loop checks and functional tests.
• Witness SIS, ESD and Fire & Gas Cause & Effect testing.
• Conduct hazardous-area inspections and verify IECEx/ATEX compliance.
• Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, punch lists, Release Notes and related technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and applicable international standards.
• Coordinate with Clients, EPC/EPCM contractors, OEMs and other stakeholders.

• REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of E&I inspection and/or commissioning experience .
• At least 3 years as a TPI or Client Representative on EPC/EPCM projects.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Power or Utilities projects.
• Hands-on experience in FAT/SAT, relay testing, LV/MV cable testing and transformer testing.
• Knowledge of loop checks, Cause & Effect testing, SIS and Fire & Gas systems.
• Familiar with relevant ISO, IEC, IEEE and API standards.
• Strong safety awareness, technical judgement and reporting skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to travel frequently to vendor and project sites.

Preferred

• IEC 61850 experience.
• SIL lifecycle experience.
• IECEx/ATEX or supplier audit experience.
• AMPP/NACE CIP or thermography certification.
