DEMAND & SUPPLY PLANNING SUPERVISOR
Mô tả công việc
Demand Management
- Receive and review weekly and monthly finished-goods demand from HQ through Symphony or other approved planning systems.
- Validate demand by SKU, quantity, required date, priority and delivery requirement; clarify incomplete or abnormal requirements with HQ.
- Analyze demand changes, spikes, duplicated requirements and potential obsolescence versus previous planning cycles.
- Manage demand priorities, including Black, Red, Yellow, Green and Cyan classifications, and maintain clear visibility of critical items.
- Demand Coverage and Supply Feasibility
- Assess demand feasibility based on finished-goods stock, raw-material stock, open purchase orders, confirmed supplier deliveries, production capacity, lead time and operational constraints.
- Classify demanded SKUs as Fully Ready, Partially Ready, Material Blocked, Capacity Blocked or System/Master-Data Blocked.
- Maintain demand coverage reporting using each SKU's original unit of measure and avoid aggregation across incompatible units.
- Prioritize Black and Red demand and initiate cross-functional recovery actions for blocked requirements.
- Supply and Master Production Planning
- Prepare and propose monthly and weekly supply and master production plans by SKU, quantity, resource, priority and required completion date.
- Balance demand against inventory, material availability, supplier commitments, capacity and production lead time.
- After approval by the Senior Supply Chain Manager, book the master plan and priorities to SAP, so the Production Planning Supervisor will convert into detailed daily and shift schedules.
- Review plan feasibility and replan when demand, materials, capacity or delivery requirements change.
- Material Requirement and Shortage Management
- Review material requirements planning results and determine material requirements against the approved production plan.
- Maintain the shortage list by material code, affected finished-good SKU, supplier, shortage quantity, required date, confirmed delivery and recovery owner.
- Issue prioritized material requirements to Purchasing and monitor supplier recovery plans, especially for Black and Red demand.
- Evaluate partial production, alternative sequencing or other feasible mitigation when full material readiness is not available.
- Escalate supply risks caused by supplier delay, payment hold, inventory discrepancy or system issue with clear impact and recovery date.
Production Plan Performance Control
- Monitor production plan attainment, production-order status and delayed production orders against the approved plan.
- Assess the demand and shipment impact of production delays and coordinate recovery priorities.
- Coordinate root-cause and corrective-action follow-up for constraints related to materials, capacity, BOM/master data, SAP-WMS synchronization, consumption posting or production reporting.
- Ensure critical planning risks are escalated with impact, responsible owner and expected recovery date.
- Inventory Planning and Parameter Control
- Monitor inventory levels to support demand fulfillment and identify excess, slow-moving and obsolete inventory risks.
- Recommend appropriate safety stock, lead time, MOQ, lot size, reorder point and other planning parameters.
- Coordinate correction of inaccurate BOM, routing, resource or planning master data with relevant process owners.
- Use verified SAP/WMS inventory data for planning and coordinate with Inventory Control when discrepancies affect plan reliability.
- Process and Reporting Management
- Establish planning calendars, standard work, procedures, work instructions and reporting deadlines.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly management reports and present key risks, scenarios and decisions required.
- Drive continuous improvement in demand coverage, schedule stability, material readiness, planning accuracy and system reporting.
