Data Engineer (Operation Product)

The ability to collect, organize and mine through the vast data to get actionable and valuable insights is one the key focus for Tiki’s Engineering team. Your work will have an impact on various solutions that manage our entire fleet of warehouses (inventory management, order fulfillment) and logistics network (including our own Tiki Delivery team – key enabler for initiative such as TikiNow).

In more details, you will

• Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and Google Cloud ‘big data’ technologies.
• Maintain optimal data pipeline architecture and data delivery process
• Assist our data scientist and Product managers in providing valuable insights and continuous optimization

You will gain more domain knowledge in what probably is one of the hottest IT sectors right now and have chances to encounter and solve challenging problems at large scale (think of millions of orders, millions of customers and a magnitude more of data in our backend system).

• Customer-oriented and have a high bar of quality. Good at math is a plus
• Minimum 2 years experience with Python
• Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable data stores
• Experience with data pipeline, workflow management and big data tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
• Experience with cloud-based system Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services: BigQuery, Dataflow, EC2, EMR, Redshift
