Commercial Executive, Logistic (Phu My, BR-VT)

JOB PURPOSE

Conduct day to day services to ensure documentation aspects of vessel discharge and warehouse management processes, ensuring all goods admission, issuance, and delivery activities are conducted according to procedure, plan, and requirements. and meet customer needs in a timely manner.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate with Operations, Port and Customers for planning and execution of cargo delivery from vessel/warehouse

• Evaluate and approve goods admission processes – from vessel arrival, cargo discharge, to document and physical condition reconciliation, ensuring consistent quality and quantity between actual goods and documented requirements & specification.

• Validate contracts and comply to fulfill contractual agreement

• Liaise and keep customers informed on vessel arrival and delivery.

• Liaise with ports and service providers on vessel arrival and delivery

• Responsible for processing admission and issuance into the system

• Responsible for the reporting of customer weigh list, etc.

• Update warehouse inventory in a timely manner.

• Responsible for charges and payment to vendors, consignees, etc.

• Administrative tasks as specified by managers.

JOB SPECIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, or related field

• Prior experience in commercial operation or supply chain management is a plus

• Experience in customer-facing role is a plus

• Knowledge in import/export logistics and practices

• Meticulous, great attention to details.

• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, in a fast-paced and changing environment

• Problem-solving skills

• Proactive in highlighting issues and keeping team informed

• Effective communication with relevant parties and outsourced vendors, and customers.
