Claims Manager

** Roles and Responsibilities:
-    Is responsible for managing the insurance claims department composed of examiner and adjusters. 
-    Operates of one or more claims processing units, including the timely and proper disposition of claims in accordance with company process
-    Oversees insurance claims for personal, properly, or casually loosed based on covered, appraisal and verifiable damage. Ensures complete and sound claim settlements, legal reviews and investigations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
-    Supervises assessor team in claim decisions, including admitting and evaluating new claim cases,
-    Ensure processed claim cases from the team to derive at final claim decisions
-    Be able of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments
-    Train new staffs to be familiar with workload of assessor team

  Internal: 60%
  External: Customers and agents and outsourcing vendor 40%
• * Education
  -    Bachelor’s degree, medicine graduated, or medical background is preferred
  -    LOMA course qualification is preferred.
• *Experience
  -    At least 5 years experienced in life insurance, underwriting and/or claims in insurance industry is mandatory.
  -    2-years experienced in middle management level
• * Skills required:
  -    Experience in managing, analyzing, enhancing claims systems/data/reports is preferred.
  -    Proficient in English and Vietnamese
  -    Knowledgeable in computer software and skillful in computer system usage, data analysis/statistic/reporting
  -    Strongly skillful in communications and negotiations
  -    Effective management skills
  -    Highly committed, well organized, pro-active, innovative, honest, integrity, thorough, persevere and diligent.
  -    Able to deliver works under tight deadlines and heavy pressures.
