Reports To: The Backend Engineer will report to the Development Manager.

Job Overview:

Be part of a fast-growing team of developers to support a range of front end and back end tasks to build several C2C products.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Participate in all software development activities following the Scrum process.
• Gather and address technical and design requirements.
• Drive design and development of platform microservices, as well as maintenance of existing products.
• Take part in system architecture and database design.
• Develop server-side logic and data structure follows User Story and/or Specification Document using NodeJS.

Candidate Must Have:

• High energy and a desire to work in a results-oriented, fast-growth company that never lost its start-up spirit.
• 2+ years of experience in development using modern stacks/ frameworks/technologies.
• Familiar with asynchronous programming, ES6, typescript.
• Proficiency with NodeJS.
• Strong experience with Non-Relational Database Schema Design (preferably MongoDB).
• Strong experience with popular Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, CentOS.
• Strong experience working with major Cloud Providers such as AWS, GCP.
• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent

Prefer If Candidate Have:

• Experience with SQL based RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Familiar with CI/CD
• Familiar with TDD/BDD
