Backend Developer (PHP/NodeJS)

1. Responsibilities

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code

• Designing and implementing  low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications

• Implementation of security and data protection

• Integration of data storage solutions.

2. Skills And Qualifications

• At least 2-year of experience developing back-end applications using Node.js

• Having experience with RESTful APIs

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or Typescript 

• Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express, StrongLoop, socket.io, etc depending on your technology stack

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3

• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform

• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

• Having experience with MySQL or MongoDB.

• Having experience with AWS utility services such as EC2, S3, SES, CloudFront, Route 53, Certificate Manager is a plus

• Having experience Google Console utility services such as Authentication, Cloud Messaging is a plus

• Experienced with Docker and Stripe is a plus
