Art Director / Junior Art Director [KB]

• Provide artistic direction and guidance to the art team to bring visuals to life.
• Communicate the artistic vision clearly to the team and stakeholders, ensuring its successful execution in the game.
• Collaborate with programmers, game designers, and QA to deliver appealing game projects and oversee the team on strategy and art guidelines.
• Set the visual target and style for projects, creating comprehensive style guides.
• Advise on production pipelines and individual artist assignments, including reviewing and critiquing art assets.
• Ensure all art meets the required quality and aesthetic standards of the project.

• Have at least 5+ years of game development experience, with 2+ years in a management role.
• Credited as a core lead on at least two successfully shipped game titles.
• Proficient in reading and comprehending specialist English.
• Deep understanding of art fundamentals (lighting, composition, anatomy, etc.) and a strong knowledge of artistic and video game culture.
• Proven ability to work in a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary, and iterative environment under tight deadlines.
• Excellent talent for promoting a vision, inspiring, and coaching team members.
• Mastery of diverse art styles and a receptive, open-minded approach to new ideas and fresh perspectives.
