Account Manager (Centrifugal/Large machinery/EPC)

Reporting to the Centrifugal Sales Leader, SEA, the successful incumbent will generate profitable sales revenue and increase operating income by broadening sales coverage, establishing new accounts and providing total solutions to customers. To maintain close relationship with the customers in assigned territories. This is a commission-based role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Achieve sales target set for area of responsibilities;
• Negotiation on tender, contract terms and condition and preparation of Sales Contract;
• Visit and meet prospective customers in assigned territories to provide required services and solicit for orders;
• Prepare sales report, analyzing cost and sales, quotations and maintaining and creating new client accounts;
• Prepare demonstration and technical presentations to customer;
• Attending trade shows, conferences, marketing and other events;
• Work closely with supply chain management, sales support and project engineer and order fulfillment team.
• Follow up on timely payment collection.

PRE-REQUISITES

• This role requires significant experience and a successful track record in achieving sales targets in complex environments
• Degree in mechanical/electrical engineering;
• Minimum 3 – 5 years of technical sales experience required in industrial products;
• Product knowledge of turbo-machinery is strongly preferred;
• Extensive network of industry, customer and partner contacts within EPC market and other industrial sectors;
• Strong team player who is self-motivated and customer oriented;
• Work independently, process good communication and strong presentation skills;
• Possess a valid driving license & own vehicle;
• Proficient in MS office
