Position: C&I Air Conditioning Engineer - Construction

Responsibility

Responsible for all aspects of the site supervision of the AC works, workers management and documentation including the Underground Stations and Elevated Sections and the Depot facilities to include civil interface and installation coordination to include but not 

limited to:

To monitor and document the repair and routine maintenance duties on equipment, buildings and 

station rooms

 Coordinate efforts with third party civil contractors

 Coordinate and supervise the inspection, maintenance, repairs, and installation of air conditioning 

systems, including D.D.C. building control and similar equipment

 Coordinate and supervise the contractors for the maintenance checks on air conditioning systems; 

clean evaporator drains pans, coils, and filters; lubricate fan and motor bearings; repair and change 

motors, electrical wiring, belts, compressors, thermostats, fans

 Coordinate, supervise and document the running of the equipment, observe its operation, and read 

instruments and gauges, including Volt-ohm meters along with temperature gauges and adjust mechanisms, including valves, pumps and controls to direct levels of fluid, temperature, and pressure and monitor the periodic preventive maintenance checks

 Coordinate and supervise the repairs or adjustments on piping connections, valves, couplings 

 Provide assistance to the contractor in planning new installation and modification projects, preparation of specification, and major reconditioning

 Assist the contractor for replacement of equipment parts as required, perform repairs as ordered, and keep record of servicing on equipment

 Provide assistance to colleagues in the department to effectively maintain, and repair equipment, buildings, and station rooms

 Carry out minor electrical maintenance work, such as repair or replacement of fixtures, including wall switches and fuses, sockets, etc., by applying the right tools as and when required

 Provide support after work hour if required in situations like emergency, workshop, commission meetings, and other company functions

 Resolution of installation interface issues between adjacent contracts CP-1a, CP-1b, CP-2

 Resolution of installation interface issues between systems teams and subcontractors

 Act as the site interface for day-to-day management and liaison issues and report back to line manager 

 Ensure that site safety processes are implemented in accordance with the HSE Manager requirements

 Provide Daily/weekly status reports to his line Manager on work done, work planned and critical issues in accordance with the Management Reporting Process

 Take part in project team meetings and prepare minutes as required

 Any miscellaneous tasks instructed by the Deputy C&I Manager or Senior Management

• Monthly Salary:  1350 USD

Requirements 

・Age: 26-40

・Gender: Male

・Bachelor Degree: Bachelor Degree, major in HVAC/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering

・Language: English - Business level

・Experiences :

• 4 years of experience as Air Conditioning Site Engineer and Maintenance on site projects;
• Strong ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with sub-contractor’s clients, colleagues,

and supervisors

• Proficiency in technical writing and reporting
• Working experience at maintaining and repairing air conditioning (HVAC) systems and other related systems  such as electrical systems would be an advantage
• Possess a degree of technical training in HVAC systems
