Position: 3D CAD Engineer (Related to Piping Basic Design Work)

Responsibility

+ Perform to create/modify 3D Model of Equipment, Structure and Pipe routing using specifications, standard drawings, design instructions, plot plan, flow diagrams, line list and supplier information by Engineering software.

+ Output the list of Piping components needed in the Plant.

+ Prepare the drawings related to Piping system such as (Piping Arrangement drawing, Isometric drawing, Support Detail drawing….)

+ Carry out the above job, leading team while coordinating it with The Company.

Requirements 

• Gender: Male preferred
• Age : 24 - 28
• Graduation of university major in Piping Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 2-year experience of mechanical/piping drafting and design in plant industry
• Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Ability to execute the assigned design and drafting activities following the instructions given by Lead Engineer or Person in charge of the project.
• Preparing Piping Layout and review/check and perform 3D CAD modeling work.
• Confirming all design product with Project/Code&Standard and engineering requirements.
• Performing 3D model of plant-based on the documents are provided such as P&IDs, piping specifications, equipment arrangement drawings, instrument drawings, stress analysis, and building/structural design...
• Selecting and modeling Piping Support based on Piping Support Standard.
• Conducting Piping Material Take Off (MTO), Piping Bill of Material (BOM), Bill of Quantity (POQ) works.
• For this, the following engineering skill, for example, is required.

(1) To be able to understand the Process & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), Material Balance Sheet, Mechanical Data Sheet, etc.

(2) To be able to calculate the pressure loss to verify the adequacy of Piping Arrangement (Layout) Drawing.

(3) To be able to understand the required straight pipe length before the flow meter, etc

(4) To be able to locate the expansion joint, fixed support, etc to release the stress.

(5) To have other basic knowledge of Piping Engineering

• Having the experience of 3D-CAD / PDMS.
• Willing to go oversea for training and working (from 6 months to 1 year)
• Good command of English. Japanese is preferred.
• Good communication skills: Group discussion, work well with a team environment.
• Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and earnest
• Personality： Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and serious.
