02 Database Administrator

What you will get to do:

• Maintenance of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch.
• Monitor database health and performance.
• Create, Backup, Restore databases per requirements.
• Create PostgreSQL/MySQL tables/indexes etc. in collaboration with the dev team.
• Optimize queries, stored procedure and database design.
• Create documentation related to upgrades, optimization practices, and developer best practices.
• Be available for off-hour support.

Who you are:

• Experience with Linux.
• Must have PostgreSQL and MySQL Administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB, Elasticsearch.
• Demonstrated capabilities in database backup, recovery and performance optimization techniques and strategies.
• Experience with Google Big Query or a similar is a plus.
• Experience with implementation and support of database replication.
