Get to know the role:
You will be responsible to identify, build relationships/partnerships with F&B merchants and manage their performance and contribution to building the GrabFood merchant network.
You will lead elements of business identification, partnerships, account management, and execution strategy.
You will be reporting to the Account Management Lead, GrabFood Malaysia.
The day-to-day activities:
Lead contract negotiations to establish a strong working partnership grounded on sustainable economics for both parties.
Responsible for multiple sales acquisition projects which includes building frameworks & control points while adhering to strict timelines.
Liaise with merchants for merchants funded promo program, merchant commission scheme, new products/features, etc.
Deliver business improvement projects to create value for both merchants and GrabFood.
Evaluate strategic and partnership opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses.
Analyzing data and develop initiatives to increase revenues/profitability for your portfolio and make decisions that build strong operational performance for your accounts.
Work across functions to tailor merchant-specific needs (e.g. customized reporting, marketing support, integrations).
Drive operational excellence by working with the merchants and operations teams.
Proactively work with both the operations & account management team to share best practices and efficiently use common resources.
The must haves:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any field (preferably in business, management or marketing field).
Minimum 5 years of experience in operations /sales/content management/leads generation/business development role is preferred.
Experience in F&B industry is a plus.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. The ability to speak in other dialects such as Mandarin is an added advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs.
Ability to fuse business, strategy, finance, and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted deals.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
