Sr. Manager of IT Operations

Position Summary

Sr. Manager of 
IT Operations (IT)  is responsible for managing the Information Technology department for the resort and casino.  Through dynamic and engaging leadership, this position is responsible for establishing and maintaining operational standards which meet and exceed the expectations of a diverse group of stakeholders, Company management and local regulatory authorities. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance the Director of IT Operations is responsible for the planning, organizing, and execution of multiple IT functions at The Grand Ho Tram Strip including departmental performance reviews of staff and the staffing requirements of the department.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements, hotel, casino and marketing strategies, into short, medium and long term IT strategic plans within the resort.
• Review all proposals for capital and operational technology expenditures throughout the resort and ensure all such projects are successfully implemented with maximum return on investment and operational efficiencies.
• Review and all information technology and telecommunications contracts and where required ensure all vendors meet contractual agreements.
• Maintain and ensure all resort communication access including internet, intranet, a/v television, VOIP/telephone/PBX, property-wide Wi-Fi connectivity and mobile communications in order to meet the needs of a 5 star resort and its internal and external guest expectations.
• Manage end user/help desk support team.
• Manage Application support team.
• Manage Development and Network support teams.
• Maintain, document and monitor all computer systems and software security access and to prevent inappropriate access as well as prevent external intrusion in accordance with industry-wide standards.
