We are looking for a Signal Integrity Engineer, where you will be instrumental in designing and optimizing high-speed interconnect solutions that power next-generation data communication systems. You will collaborate with global teams and customers to ensure exceptional signal performance and integrity.
You will thrive in a highly collaborative environment, partnering with:
Internal Teams: Cross-functional teams across the organization, including global colleagues and specialized Product Design groups.
Commercial Teams: Sales and Marketing teams to provide technical depth and support product success.
External Partners: Customers and external vendors, acting as a technical liaison
Key tasks:
Simulation & Modeling: Conduct detailed finite element simulations for complex electro-mechanical interconnects.
Mathematical Development: Develop and refine mathematical models to accurately represent electrical and mechanical parameters of components.
Characterization & Testing:
Characterize high-speed connectors and systems using cutting-edge digital testing equipment (e.g., Oscilloscopes, TDRs, VNAs) and advanced electromagnetic (EM) modeling tools.
Design and implement rigorous electrical test procedures, specifications, and fixtures.
Design characterization and verification printed circuit boards (PCBs) and manage collaboration with external PCB design vendors.
Perform empirical and analytical testing to validate design inputs and simulation results.
Technical Consulting: Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports and technical presentations for both internal stakeholders and customers.
Cross-Functional Support: Provide expert technical guidance on signal integrity to Sales, Marketing, and directly to customers.
Innovation & R&D:
Lead Research & Development (R&D) initiatives in advanced electrical design technologies.
Develop effective mitigation strategies for system-level challenges, including ElectroMagnetic Interference (EMI), heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) within interconnect systems.
Stay current with evolving industry trends and share critical insights with the team.
Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customers on high-speed serial I/O, backplane, board-to-board, and general channel applications.
