There are many inefficiencies in today’s interior industry and we’re looking for a Showroom Sales Manager (Furniture Store) who can solve such problems with us.
Job Description
1. Showroom Setup & Launch
Lead the opening of the first showroom, including layout planning, store setup, and product displays.
Coordinate with designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely showroom readiness.
Source and manage inventory, furniture samples, and showroom décor.
Implement in-store branding, signage, and marketing materials.
2. Sales & Customer Experience
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
Train and manage the sales team to ensure excellent customer service.
Provide interior design consulting and product recommendations to customers.
Monitor customer preferences and adapt product offerings accordingly.
3. Operations & Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of the showroom, including staffing, scheduling, and store maintenance.
Ensure stock availability, proper merchandising, and showroom cleanliness.
Handle pricing strategies, product placements, and promotions.
Track sales performance and customer feedback to improve business strategies.
4. Team Leadership & Training
Hire, train, and motivate showroom staff to achieve sales and customer service excellence.
Set performance targets and regularly review staff performance.
Develop training programs on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
5. Marketing & Business Development
Work with marketing teams to plan in-store promotions, events, and campaigns.
Develop partnerships with designers, contractors, and real estate agents to drive traffic.
6. Reporting & Analysis
Monitor showroom sales, foot traffic, and conversion rates.
Provide weekly and monthly reports on sales performance and market trends.
Analyze customer insights to refine product selection and marketing strategies.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years in retail management, preferably in home furniture, interior showroom, or luxury retail
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent sales and customer service abilities.
Knowledge of home furniture, interior design trends, and space planning.
Proficient in store operations, inventory management, and merchandising.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Interior Design, or a related field (preferred).
Language: Fluent in English
Proficient with AI tools and technology
