Get to know the Role:
Lead a large team of specialists performing GrabPay Risk and Compliance operations in Southeast Asia.
Drive operational processes such as transaction review, chargeback management and Know-Your-Customer. Ensure highest levels of quality, speed and cost-effectiveness.
Instil a strong quality, flexibility and continual improvement mindset. Expert and smooth.
Lead resource hiring, planning, forecasting and talent progression within the risk organisation.
Ensure risk operation tooling needs are gathered, documented and worked on with tech functions.
Act as a risk operations subject matter expert towards other company functions such as product, marketing and business development.
Lead operational reporting and monitoring, ensure metrics are available, closely followed and communicated to senior management in a factual and concise manner.
The must haves:
Problem-solving, positive and constructive attitude is a must.
Comfort in dealing with ambiguity and operating in fast-changing, unstructured environments.
Recognised experience in leading large risk and compliance operation teams in financial institutions.

Structured, factual and data-driven. Ability to deep dive then elaborate clear and synthetic insights.
Proven experience in electronic payments and financial services.
Advanced knowledge and experience in e-wallet / online payments abuse (account take-over, credit card fraud, merchant/buyer collusion fraud, money laundering...).
Knowledge of credit card scheme rules, banking processes, central bank regulations preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English and at least one local SEA language.
