Senior Manager, Payments Operations

Responsibilities

• As responsible for all the acquiring finance operations, products as well as reconciliation abilities.
  You’ll be in charge of guiding each product team to build the strongest interconnected roadmap across all countries, while monitoring day to day operations to ensure smooth and reliable collection operations across our different countries, acquirers and gateways.
• as responsible for GrabPay’s wallet infrastructure design and operations.
  You’ll ensure that Grab can scale rapidly and efficiently launch every payment use-case in its platform within a logical, financially compliant and efficient eco-system (lending, remittance, MDR, online acceptance, QR payments, digital marketplace, cross-wallet operations…)
  You’ll act as the go-to person to define a payment strategy while aligning with all members
• As responsible for all payment disbursement operations across Merchants, Drivers, Consumers and third-party companies. Enabling back-up rails, reconciliations and multi-channel availability.

• As Payment Operations Head, you will be the link between our Product, Business, leadership, Operations, and Finance teams and act as enabler across all Grab financial questions.

In more details this would mean also

• End-to-end ownership of the timely delivery of the payment and financial components of new products or features launches.
• Centralize and align all business requirements and turning them into detailed technical requirements for Finance, Data engineering, Product and Engineering.
• Improve existing systems and setups by studying best practices; doing in detail gap analysis and designing the roadmap
• Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes in Business logic, launch or product
• Influence other functional areas of the business to achieve business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management/ Administration, Finance, Accounting or Computer Science or equivalent educational or professional experience.
• 7 years' experience in complex project management, consulting, tech-firm operations, or product management
• Experience with data analysis, data reporting and data presentation to suit the needs of business and use cases.
• Proficient accounting knowledge.
• Strong SQL abilities.
• Proficient in establishing a working relationship with all levels of management & financial executives in the region.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with eyes for details.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge in accounting or working experience in finance firm/department
• Able to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Experience in payments, ideally alternative payments acquiring and processing
• Understanding of the payment landscape in Southeast Asia.
