Senior Manager, Human Resource (Based in HCMC)

THE JOB BRIEF

Responsible for the delivery of day-to-day human resources activities related to one or more of the specific financial areas in order to provide on-going support to the business

Typical Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate the daily human resources activities for the responsible business units / areas according to the company’s operating policies and procedures
  • Lead the annual human resources processes for the responsible business units according to guidelines and schedules
  • Manage and coordinate day-to-day human resources activities such as recruitment & selection, compensation & benefits administration, training, employee relations which are relevant to the responsible business area to ensure they are within operating policies and procedures and to recommend any cost-effective or efficient actions for sustained profitability
  • Provide and interpret human resources data to provide management information on turnover, headcount, compensation information, organizational statistics, etc.
  • Manage the successful delivery of human resources projects according to project schedule and budgets
  • Analyze and recommend appropriate human resources processes / activities considering the business implications, cost and consistency with current and future business directions

Organizational Management and Development

  • Ensure alignment of operating systems and processes that will enable the division to achieve its overall business objectives
  • Work across functional business units to support organizational initiatives and business needs
  • Promote inter-departmental and inter-divisional communications and teamwork

People Management

  • Ensure effective performance management system is implemented and aligned with regional directions in order to recognize desired performance for business advantage
  • Develop training plans to ensure that associates are able to grow and demonstrate mastery of required competencies in their jobs and deliver desired performance levels
  • Provide support, recognition and feedback to assist employees to achieve their performance standards
  • Act as coach, guide and mentor to employees and people managers
  • Establish a strong team environment focused on exceeding internal and external client requirements
  • Contribute to driving world-class employee engagement through the implementation of relevant organizational initiatives
  • Ensure proper dissemination of information and implementation of company rules and regulations as well as policies and procedures

Typical Position Pre-requisites:

  • University degree in Human Resources Management
  • 6 to 9 years human resources working experience in multinational companies environments
  • Ability to read and analyze human resources data
  • Previous experience working in service/B2B companies is an advantage
  • Previous experience working in HR COE is a plus
  • Effective communications skill
  • Excellent interpersonal skill
