The Sales Manager's responsibilities focus on planning, team management, market development, and ensuring sales targets are met within the medical device sector.

I. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Market Development and Sales Target Achievement

  • Develop detailed sales plans (monthly/quarterly/annually) for assigned markets to ensure the completion of sales objectives.
  • Directly contact and meet with doctors, present, and discuss products with specialized departments and wards.
  • Proactively acquire new customers and maintain stable relationships with existing clients.
  • Research and analyze the market to formulate strategies for expanding and developing new territories.

2. Product Knowledge, Market, and Competitor Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth product research, including identifying the company's product strengths and weaknesses.
  • Analyze competitor product information, pricing, and market policies.
  • Collect and analyze overall market data, forecast development trends to build effective competitive strategies.

3. Team Management and Training

  • Conduct training sessions for subordinate staff on product knowledge and market dynamics.
  • Organize regular team meetings to monitor sales activities and provide guidance.
  • Directly support sales staff in accessing the market, particularly for new products.
  • Evaluate the performance results and work efficiency of subordinate staff.

4. Internal Coordination and Tendering Process

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to plan and organize sales promotion activities such as workshops and specialized seminars.
  • Assist in providing information on quotations, product lists, and track tender updates in assigned markets for bidding documentation.
  • Coordinate with the Accounting Department to monitor and expedite customer payments.
  • Work with the Purchasing Department to place orders, verify inventory at hospitals, and ensure sufficient stock without expiration issues.

5. Customer Care and Cost Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors and hospitals, and manage customer information.
  • Develop plans for customer visits and care, understanding customer needs and feedback on company products.
  • Forecast the sales budget and effectively control the usage of operational expenses.
  • Update sales data for the managed group to report to the Board of Directors (BOD).
