Get to know the Role:
You are the in-house programmatic expert who consults with diverse teams on programmatic performance-related matters. This role is responsible for driving day-to-day performance marketing topics for selected Grab verticals across the region and providing thought leadership to key stakeholders. Additionally, this role will initiate and drive business cases of important tech-related projects to drive efficiency and performance of digital marketing channels.
The day-to-day activities:
Personnel Management & Training
- Conduct bi-weekly 1-2-1s with team of Traders – focused upon the 4 Ps (performance, pace, profit, portfolio)
- Act as a sounding board for Traders across challenging campaigns – troubleshoot any raised campaign challenges
- Trader Development – structure long-term up-skill performance and development approach (non-campaign specific). Use management & L&D to facilitate.
Portfolio Management & Optimization best practices
- Implement and enforce trading best practices – particularly related to campaign management, and product & tool adoption (Campaign Best Practices, Predict, etc)
- Monitor weekly pace/ performance / profit as it relates to regional campaigns – ensure portfolio risks are flagged at weekly board sessions
- Run weekly Pod board sessions – work to identify any hidden challenges, business risks, and communication issues
- Campaign Distribution – ensure even and well-rounded distribution of campaign count and revenue across the regional Teams
Commercial Trading Lead across the SEA Market
- Be the trading expert in both product application, and how to utilise the platform. Know all the answers.
- Consistent dialogue / feedback with agency and country marketing teams– be the ‘go-to’ stakeholder for regional trading vertical
- Attend key country meetings, lead by example when it comes to engagement with country teams and local supply partners.
- Ownership – develop and maintain strong understanding of booked revenue, profit targets and key opportunities
Individual Campaign Management
- Oversee Strategic Accounts -- New Tier I challenging performance campaigns, key agencies
- Use traded campaigns to spearhead testing / innovation and new product releases
- Lead by example – develop and implement best practices, share solutions you have implemented, leave no question unanswered
Individual Presence
- Lead by example in cross functional workflows - command respect from regional marketing, country marketing, CRM Analytics etc. teams.
- Build and strengthen relationship with analyst leads and other relevant folks based in Singapore i.e. product & tech
- Contribute to Grabs SEA trading strategy, work closely with wider agency trading managers to enforce best practices and innovation which benefit Grab in the longer run.
The must haves:
- Minimum 3-5 years Programmatic Trading Experience
- Experience in training, mentoring
